About Us
We are a successful, family-owned, home-based business. Our roots began in the Winter of '97 (or thereabouts) when Laura decided that she needed yet another thing to try. After all, Christmas was approaching and who wouldn't appreciate a handcrafted gift? Unfortunately (or is it fortunately?), soapmaking turned out to be highly addictive and we had soap coming out of our ears. Ever patient Marc finally said, "Enough! We cannot possibly use all of this in our lifetime! Either start selling or stop soapmaking!" The rest is history.
Laura is the soapmaker, web designer and driving force behind the company. Marc is the chief engineer, repair man and moral supporter. Son Travis is our consultant on color and fragrance. Daughter Tasha is our photographer and marketing consultant. One of her photographs has been published in a book: "The Scented Lavender Book" by Yvonne Deutch.

We don't believe in animal testing. We have too many family and friends who are more than willing to let us test new products on them! We also believe in being as kind to the environment as we possibly can and, thus, support recycling and reusing products where possible (ie, packaging, paper, etc.) and so on.
